The Zeiss 16-35/4 + CV 12/5.6 is a killer landscape combo for the A7RII. Any focal length at f/8 looks great to the very edges of the frame. The good news is that the 12/5.6 is only 348g and the 16-35/4 519g (both weighted without caps)

I think that combo is what I've settled on. Gotta do some more testing on my relatively new-to-me 16-35 though....tests looked fine on my monitor, but just got back a 20x30 print and most of the right side is really soft :/
Don't give up on the Zeiss 16-35. There are lots of variation but once you get a good copy you will know it.

Just got a 12mm 5.6 E mount. My copy looks sharp, well centered, much better than my 24-70f4, and slightly better than my 16-35 f4. The lens is quite sharp that shooting building with the lens on A7RII produced some Moiré. Now I just need to find some nice place to use the lens.
Thank you dbehrens and johnahill (+ Sebastian for adding the Flickr link)
9 times out of 10 I just use F8...I have not carried out any tests for my actual lens for maximum sharpness/resolution yet....But I expect it to be around this point....DOF is HUGE with these SWA Voigtlanders :-)
As Sebastian says my Exif sometimes gets lost in transit between photo editors on layers.
I love Cornwall as many know over at GetDPI...Lots of things to photograph here, do pay us a visit and hopefully you will be rewarded with some great images :-)
Cheers Barry

Thank you Neurad1...I do hope you get a good one...I haven't heard yet of any horror stories with the 12mm E mount.
It's not as good as the Loxia 21mm IMO in the extreme corners but considering how wide it is I wouldn't expect it to be.
I don't have any experience with the 10mm so I don't know how it compares other than to look at other ppl's images.
Cheers Barry
