First, glad you were able to help those birds out
Oh wow, what a marvelous set !! No favorites as they are all outstanding. Those snowies with that gorgeous sand and beautiful blue background just jump off the page.
Oh, you set does make me long for the beach.
Birdie
Thank you, Birdie this is not the first time I was able to release a bird being tangled up in a fish line. It is a serious problem and people don' t realize the danger they are exposing the birds to.
This is the scene I saw. From the distance I thought the two birds were fighting, but didn't take me long to realize what was going on.

A refreshing set of patterns, calming blues, seashore scenery and excellent whites!
A marvelous set Scorate, I'm picking the whole set and voting for it
Karl
Thank you, Karl. It was nice to go to the beach after quite some time.

Wonderful set of images Socrate, all very well captured and processed with beautiful color and detail.
In-flight shots are impressive, but my favorites in the set are 1, 4, 11, & 14.
Excellent work and a real pleasure to view.

Awesome pics, but really grateful you were able to help out the skimmer.
Thank you Miguel. Of the two birds the Skimmer looked the most beat up. After I was able to free the bird it looked still a bit confused and probably its right wing was still hurting as it looked a bit "droopy".

Thanks for the rescue of the birdies. It always ticked me off to see tangled fishing line discarded on the beach just waiting for some bird to get entangled in it. These are all marvelous. Am I seeing things, or are two toes missing in # 9? Makes me want to head back down to the coast for a few days. These are all gorgeous.
Sue
Thank you, Sue. You won't believe what I have seen. One day I even found a Cardinal with a fishing hook stacked in his beak
The bird in #9 is fine . It is just the way it is holding its foot. I have the next frame where you can clearly see the toes.

What a rich and beautiful set, Socrate! Each is an image worth savoring and to be able to see them all together is truly a breath of fresh (beach) air!
Thanks for brightening a dark and dreary evening (and for rescuing those birds!).
Wonderfully done; thanks for posting.
