p.3 #1 · Canon 35mm f/1.4L ii vs. Canon 35mm f/2 IS

I think the only flaw of the 35 f2 IS is the gull wing coma that it suffers from when dealing with astrophotography wide open, so for quite a while this flaw weighed heavily on the back of my mind(even though I virtually get the chance to use it for that). But I paid full price for it back when it was released and I love everything about it, even at f2 I find the IS really useful and I do love the vignetting. I kinda dislike pancake lenses, this feels good to grip when using both hands but its not too bulky and its still super lightweight vs many other options.
I hope they release an RF version, I know there's the 35 1.8 STM but Id much prefer a USM version even if it bulks up the size a bit.

I just purchased the 35L II yesterday as an upgrade from the 35L and all I can say is that it is "TOTALLY BORING"

The 35L II focuses accurately on my 1D's and the images are very sharp.

"TOTALLY BORING"
