Still deciding between this and the 200. But seeing this photo I'm swinging more towards the 105! Love the colours, the bokeh, sharpness,everything...

As far as image quality goes, the only difference I really notice is the compression. Both sharp, beautiful bokeh, amazing color, handle flare well. I do prefer the compression of the 200, but not by that much, so the difference in price and weight make make you want to go for the 105.
soooo i thought id try this lens at my job. i own a hobby shop and indoor race track. ive been shooting rc for 10 years now and this lens is by far the best ive ever tried for indoor work.
sure its slow to focus but for me its focus tracking and it works pretty dam good. normally im at 6400 iso and above to get the shutter speed i need, with the 1.4 im around 2200 to 3200. the car are flying thru the air at 30mph, pretty fast.
sharpness is just fantastic. i give this lens a big thumbs up for indoor sports.
