Good set. Nice variety, good poses and colours.
I found that same big smile became repetitious after a while. Good that you had a few shots without it.
I try to stay away from the big smiles and looking directly at the camera. Sadly that's what some of the senior's and their moms ask for more of though.... Here are a few I have done before without it..
Grandparents and mothers will always want more pics looking and smiling at the camera. Just the way it goes. Roll with it as you've done, but get some others as well when you can.

Thank you Ryan! I always work our style in it also and get a variety. It's funny a lot of times they say they want looking at the camera photo's, then when it's time to put the prints or products they usually pick more natural photo's instead. But you have to humor them during the photo shoot and get both.
Wonderful and diverse set. I have no problem with the smiles as the expressions include the eyes and seem natural. So, your skill set includes the rapport needed to put the subjects at ease and then the good timing to capture the peak of their pose. I am sure if your client wanted a different expression you would be easily up to the task. Personally, I get tired of the neutral stare so these are refreshing. Excellent job with the dof and separation creating a complementary but not showy background.
