Last time I posted here a cold and snowy mountain piece to chill you during the hot summer ( usually hot elsewhere, not where I live). This time I am posting a summery photo to show that Canada is not all about snow and polar bears!
Here I find myself again searching for new adventure and places to photograph. Summer in the Coastal Mountains of BC this year set in very late and I am still waiting for the full flower bloom. In the meantime I found these patches of Alpine Paintbrush high in the alpines where snow had already melted. After many hours of hike in the rain this sunset came with a soft light that nicely illuminated flowers bringing unexpected summery feeling. This photo was taken about 2 weeks ago and features Mt.Hozameen and area, as seen from the Skyline Trail.
I am always impressed with your natural look and processing and this is no exception. This a shot we all dream off, Wildflowers in the foreground, cool mountains in the background and sweet colors in the clouds topping it off. You are watering my tastebuds for Glacier where hopefully I can find similar scenes in just a few weeks.
Really beautiful image! Isn't Mt. Hozameen in the US (North Cascades, just east of Ross Lake)? This is a wonderful image of both of our countries!!! Great work on the exposure and dynamic range in this image.

Excellent work. The eyes immediately goes to those flowers in the foreground and then slowly traverses towards those distant mountain peaks. Enjoyed it a lot
Thank you very much everyone for all comments. I really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot. Yes, the Hozammen Peak is on The US side. This photo was taken from Skyline trail on BC side. It is a spectacular area.

Artur, I really wish I had your skills!
Everything is in 3D !
Beautiful!!
Thanks a lot. Transforming multidimensional scenery into two dimensional photo in the way so it appears 3D is one of the most difficult aspects of photography. Having multiple layers in composition ( one of the reasons why I chose this composition at that timing) creates that 3D appearance. What helps even more is to have multiple layers that are easily distinguishable from one another (layers that have different luminosity, brightness, different contrast, colour, subject etc.)
