Just started fooling around with my II and have a question: when I used the FN lever on 2 on my other Oly's, turning the front dial always changed the ISO and the rear dial always the WB. Here, I have to half push the the shutter button to switch from ISO to WB adjustment. Is that normal?

John,
I just set my camera up to mimic your settings, and I did not have to half-press the shutter button to switch from ISO to WB adjustment. Once I pressed "OK" to set the ISO level, I could immediately turn the rear dial and it engaged the WB adjustment.
On dpreview I saw images and reports of green stripes in the images taken with E-M1.2.
I would take a look there. That seems to be a more involved issue Olympus has been made aware of.
My E-M1.2 hung a few times, but not since I reformatted my Lexar memory cards with their recovery software on my Mac. Of course, every time I have downloaded my images I format both cards in the E-M1.2.

Thanks Mitesh. Now I see where my confusion comes from. On the original E-M1, the ISO is at the top of the screen and the WB at the Bolton and you can change both. On this one, you seem to have to use that OK button to switch and then both the front and the back dials change ISO or WB, even though the manual says the front dial should change only ISO and the back dial only WB. Annoying.
Now, please someone correct me if I'm wrong and you can set it up as the manual says.
All the more annoying, actually, because I hardly ever change my WB and gladly use that function for something else.
Bubble, try EVF Adjust in Cog I, increase by +3 and see if that helps. I read somewhaere that the EVF has been coated to avoid the burn problem from the Mark 1, and that tints the screen somewhat. Not sure if that's true but the adjustment helped me.

The fn lever on my EM1 II works as you described on your other Oly's where when in position 2 it changes ISO on the front dial and WB on the rear dial without any need to press ok or half press shutter. What mode are you shooting in?

I've tried it in different modes. And I've reset the camera to its original settings. So, maybe I do have a faulty unit.

I made that exact change soon after I got the E-M1ii and that greatly improved it. I think we will see a firmware fix for this at some point. My guess is that the Olympus testing for the EVF color setup was done on the initial sample bodies without the EVF coating. It was likely an error on Olympus's part. We'll just need to reverse this change later after the firmware change.

See how Pro capture mode helps us to capture the decisive moment! Thank you MM.
Jonas, Poof and I have done a lot of splash photography- https://www.flickr.com/photos/medicineman4040/11372675533/in/album-72157663280327219/
But wanted to play with the M1ii.
The dancing paint image was out of boredom being trapped by the snow/ice/weather but we want to
try Pro Photo on splash next....instead of four flashes and the control integration of the drop and shutter
release we'll use several halogen lamps and the high frame rate at 1/20,000 second electronic shutter.
I'll post up if we get anything
Interesting to try my II and the 300mm PRO for the first time today. On the one hand, I'm glad I can walk around with a 600mm equivalent setup and amazed that unlike my other Olympus cameras, this one can actually track a BIF. At the same time, the birds were often too far and I didn't get any keepers and I'm still not sure if this setup will give me the speed and focus I need. Wishing for some nice sunny days or some real cold that'll bring the eagles down from the north.
