I was finishing up an evening high school volleyball game when I noticed the sky outside. I grabbed my D2H with 50mm f/1.4 lens and ran outside and grabbed a few shots over the high school. I had to hurry because the light was fading fast... and the show only lasted a short time.
The sky and clouds started out a brilliant yellow. As the sun set, the yellow changed to a mixture or deep yellows, oranges, and reds. I thought this one in the series was a particularly vivid... almost abstract image.
