great shots.
the gals dressed up nicely but the guys showed up in t-shirts, jeans and... sneakers ;-)
sometime you have to work with what ever are available, attire included!
Very true. I even go over advice on clothing on their pre consult and give them a guide. But you know it is, some take your advice, some do what they want. And when it comes down to it, it's their photo shoot and they are paying.

These are great. As an aside... I didn't realize how popular tunics were to the high school crowd!
Thanks MN_Migrant! This was actually to model clothes for a local boutique, my senior rep's were more than happy to be a part of it. They got to use the clothes and she got to use the photos.

Excellent work. Everyone seems happy and very cooperative. Putty in your hands. I find #11 is my favorite as she seems so naturally posed. A lovely blouse and a quiet, complementary setting with the yellow flowers. A very easy smile. Perfect quarter turn to her body. Wonderful tone to the very light sky. Her return engagement in #13 is very good, too. A natural.

Great pics! Can you describe your lighting set up a bit?
Thanks! For the lighting I usually put a Nikon SB700 flash on a monopod and bounce it off an umbrella. My wife shoots the photo's while I hold the monopod usually forming kind of a v. Sometimes if I want it to look more dramatic go a little more to the side than normal. Usually we try to put them in some shade, if we can't then we put their backs against the sun. We try to wait until an hour or two before sunset to start the photo shoot, on a few of those posted we didn't have that option. If it's right before sunset or during sunset we will have them facing the direction the light is coming in and use no flash at all. That's what we did for the first two. So it really depends on the situation.
