I am always so hesitant to post in this section...I am always browsing...admiring and in awe of the work the good folks here do with people. I am still trying to find my way with people. It is becoming more and more of what I do, and I figure, I can't get better if I don't get some feedback...so here goes nothing...
My first ever Senior Session...meet Mason. She was born extremely premature, weighing only 24 ounces. Doctor's said that she would never walk or lead a normal life, and likely not live too long...fast forward 20 years and she is set to graduate high school next month. Yes, she is legally blind, but she has persevered through it all and beaten all the odds...it was a joy and pleasure to shoot this session for both her and her mother...and all of her extended family who have been supporting her all along the way...
Thanks to anyone who stops in to look and comment, I do appreciate it.

Congrats to her! Heterochromia? I always find this striking to look at, and I mean that in a positive way.
Edit, I like #1 the best. The separation is so sharp, the background just melts away into a very pleasing bokeh.
I think what you see is more the clouding of one eye, they are by and large the same color, but one has clouded over. Gotta love the separation the 135L provides...when paired with the A7R2 it really shines.

You really did justice to her achievement, Travis. Thanks for sharing her story.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
For future shots....just watch the posing.. In particular the first two images, notice how her front shoulder is hunched up? It has a sense of her shrugging her shoulders, she has beautiful shoulders and neck line....those poses hides them.
