That picture actually has a shuttertime of 1/400 believe it or not :-) Iso4000, f/4, 600mm. It was light from a full moon and that again made the fog in the background lighten up the scene a bit, enough to make the shot possible.
Well, I'd say you got lucky having the moon light help you but that wouldn't explain all the other amazing shots you have here. You are very talented indeed.
I can't stop coming back to these and admiring them. Repeatedly! I'm in awe every time I look at them.
What a beautiful, and goose-bump inducing, set of images! I can't imagine what it must have been like to be there. 1, 3, 6, and 12 make my heart beat faster from the comfort of my home! I love the lighting and compositions. Well done and congratulations.
Beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing. Is it just me who finds the signature/ logo too distracting? Kind of takes the attention away from the beautiful images...
Without reading, I knew where this was as I've been lucky enough to go to the Finland/Russian border. Didn't really enjoy the amount if time you have to stay in the hides, but being in there the Bears come REALLY close, you can actually hear them sniffing outside the hide!! This of course does not take away from the stunning images you made, awesome sir!!
