Came across one of my favorite pictures of my boy, Buddy, I think this shows the drive that he has doing the thing he loves most, hunting and retrieving ducks.
This is just a killer shot, Bob! Absolutely love everythinig about it, the energy of the jump, the reflection in the water! That is one happy dog right there! Great job! Thanks for sharing!

Great shot, Bob. Makes me want another golden or two.
On land, I probably retrieved more than them. But put them in the water and they'd retrieve all day long -- as long as it wasn't made of meat & feathers. For some reason they'd retrieve a rubber bumper but would just play with a dead duck.
Squirrely Eyed, I'm fortunate with Buddy, he came from a real nice hunting line, he's my first "hunting" dog, so I had a learning curve, but Buddy was patient with me and we just got our AKC Senior Hunter title last year
One of the things I especially like about his shot is how well Buddy is lit in the sun, and then he contrasted against the darker background. Just a gorgeous shot!
