And she did <3
Playing around with some light texture. Does it work? I did frequency separation on her skin although I'm not good at that technique yet. I'm in the process of working on adding more contrast but I keep dialing it back. Opinions on the contrast and overall processing are always appreciated as that's how I grow.
I hope this helps
There are 2 dark horiz lines on the curve of her chin, her right, there is a dark vertical smudge/line on her right cheek and a shadow by her left eye on her cheek. Clone out the stray hairs on the white top on her right.
Good beauty retouching takes hours.
This site has a free PS plug in action to create the frequency separation and free vimeo on how to use it
I think overall it is great processing and the contrast is just right. I'm not too familiar with frequency separation but the often called "orange peel effect" is not one I particularly care for, especially in youth shots. Whatever you did seems to work just right, there's texture but her skin is still soft without looking overly so.
Your use of light is always wonderful and this is no exception.
On my setup I can't quite see the things Steve464 mentioned. I do wonder a bit about her left side of her left eye, it seems to taper a bit to darker in the whites at that corner and I'm not sure if that's natural or an effect of the processing.
Great natural looking portrait. It has a very soft transition from highlights to shadows, which plays nicely with her mood. The only criticism I would give is on the editing of the eyes. If you used layers in Photoshop, drop the opacity by 10% and you will be golden. Right now, they look unreal, finding the balance is key to great editing.
