Great captures and processing Fred. I like both the wider view and the more intimate one of El Capitan. The only thing I would adjust is the lower left corner on the first image, which doesn't seem to be completely B&W.

Are these single exposures? The dynamic range is very impressive. It's the kind of photo that would probably take Zone with -1 or -2 treatment if shot on 4x5 B&W film. It would also take some serious printing skills.
I've been really tempted by the A7. It really is a remarkable camera.
A beautiful first image, which I prefer over the second, tighter view, where the drama combining El Capitan and the sky and clouds is much less present.
Given I'm a newbie 'round here, I'm not sure I feel justified in commenting, but I just had to say how stunning these images are, both in terms of captures and post. I'm normally most attracted to color, but this work demands attention.

Yes, it was not completely black and white on that area.
