Wow, what an awesome photo Harsha! Amazing light right on that mountain and a perfect reflection in the water. Comp, color, exposure all look great. Nice work!

Beautiful image and it is a great composition on its own.
An alternate composition maybe is to crop the left and just turn the light on the mountains a tad darker. Just an idea to play with.
Thank you for sharing.
Maji
Great idea. I will try that. Thanks.

Harsha,
I have always looked for a nice perspective on this mountain but could never find it. It is definitely hard to shoot and you have nailed it with this photo & reflection.
Corey
Glad you like this. I tried this last year but I couldn't come up with something I liked. This year it worked.

Just beautiful.
My standard "kudos" applies: "BIG wall space required."
Thanks Chaz. I see a slight green cast to the image. Once I correct that it will go to print.

Incredible image!!! That reflection is killer! I can only imagine how difficult it must have been waiting for the perfect light. Congrats!
It required some planning. I was there 2 days before and thought about the shot. When lighting was right I knew exactly what to do. Thank you very much

Another gorgeous image Harsha. You got some great glass-like water to work with. Maybe crop off the top so the bottom half is the large portion of the horizon spit. That is the only thing that I can think of as a suggestion. Print it!
Thanks Scott. Appreciate your comments.

Great picture of a very popular spot. Nicely done! Hopefully the water wasn't too cold
I think the temp was around 16F. Couldn't feel the fingers at the end of the shoot.

I would love to hear more about the story of how you got this and processed it. How did you find the place? How often have you shot the mountain before? What is the time of day? How long were you there for? How did you process it? Anything about the process of making the image would I am sure be of interest to many people!

Thanks Jim. This was taken last week. I saw a pack of wolves (5) hunting in the meadows on my way to this spot. That was the highlight of the day for me.
Harsha
That's simply brilliant. No 500mm with you ?
