Really great shot of a beautiful winter scene. I always love how fresh snow looks on the pines in the moonlight. I live in a beautiful place but i am jealous of your area.
I am curious did you take the mountain shot when there was still daylight? Seems like a lot of light when the moon is behind it.
Thanks a lot everyone.
It was one of those mornings. After two days of snow, low clouds and fog, the weather changed to clear sky. It was also last morning when I was able to get moon in decent position.
I added more technical details in the description for those who are interested.

This image was taken in the morning about 30 minutes before sunrise. The sky was almost clear with a little bit of fog above river and ponds. The light on the mountains comes from the first light of the day. The sun rising about 100 degrees to the left, illuminated mountains long before sunrise.
A really beautiful and peaceful image. I'm sure it was so serene being out there on that morning. My only gripe is that it seems the moon doesn't completely line up with the reflection. To me, it looks like the moon is just a touch further to the right than the reflections on the water and on the ice. Perhaps the images weren't taken quite quickly enough and so the moon moved a bit. Besides that, an incredible image.

Thanks for your suggestions Chris. You have good eye. I was thinking about correcting of the alignment the Moon and reflection. The image is focus stack of 4 shots all at 30 sec and the moon was the last. The time delay between the first shot and the last one was about 3 minutes. That was enough for the Moon to move.
