We had the first real winter storm of the season last week. Got up to Santiam Pass to catch the tail end of it. The clouds were piling up on the west and just sliding over the Cascades. Near the top of the pass there was intermittent weak sun and slivers of blue sky between the snow squalls that were moving through at 15-20 mph. Shot with Pentax 67 on Pan F Plus. Feedback always welcome.

Great set.
Love the feel that Pan F gives these scenes.
The graduated look of the fog/mist really puts you there

A very nice series of images. I will pick # 2 as best of series.The composition is nicely balanced and anchored by the foreground trees.

Beautiful, Heron! I love the third one because of the shadows caused by the little bit of sunlight.

Beautiful images indeed. At least someone has got some snow, we are baking here in New England in sub-tropical weather

Nice set Heron. #2 is my pick - also I think #2 would look great as a 1x1 crop (with a white matte and black frame hanging on the wall)

Hi Heron,

Really nice set. Thanks for sharing! I especially like #4. The intersecting lines and shapes of the clouds, tree line and mountains makes for a dynamic discovery.
