Very nice, but I feel with the longer FL's like the 85 and 135, it is nice to have AF unless your specialty is landscapes. The 135/1.8 ZA is smaller and is one great lens.
Kudos to Mitakon for challenging the market, which can only be good for everyone

And that Zeiss is not outrageously expensive, to my surprise.
Do you have that one, Charles?
Having just shot a dim indoor event MF, I admit AF would have made my life easier

Very true Charles. But I assume this is a cheapie, it would be nice to have for that occasional unique look, considering this would give the same look as the current 200/2.
105mm filter thread. Seems they're offering their own filters too?
Not sure I like the tripod collar/foot design, though kudos for what appears to be Arca Swiss compatibility. Why so much distance between the foot and the lens? It will just take up more space in a bag.
But agree, I'd probably use this more for low light situations and AF would be really useful... As it is, this looks to be a great match for my M240, haha!
Hmmmm.....very interesting. I'd like to see what new Sony FE lenses are announced soon first though. I'm kind of hoping that there will be a FE 135mm f1.8/2.0 on the list. Still, it's an interesting addition to the 135mm lens choices.
Hmmm, If its around $1000 I'd buy it.
Sight unseen.
Though I'd probably end up justifying a A7SII at the same time.
I'm still hoping we get at new 180-200 f2.
