Very very kind of you all for such nice comments. My reply to each one of you is thanks so much !!
Ecuador, and Costa Rica are 2 special places for bird photography. After 18 tours completed now to CR, I am excited to explore Ecuador, and possibly Columbia some day. I understand that the smallest hummingbird / bird in the world is in Cuba, another place I would love to try.
I hope you all have a chance to go, and enjoy. The fun is amazing!
Lovely set of pictures Raymond! As you been to Costarica many times, just would like to ask , which one you find a better place for bords, Costa Rica or Ecuador? And what is the possibility of getting good bird phots in Costa Rica? I understand it depends on luck, but still would like to know how many days tour would be ideal for bird photography in Costa Rica?

Honestly John, after 18 tours to CR, and 1 completed in Ecuador, they are both superb for bird photography.
Each time I go there I learn of better locations, opportunities, connections, and techniques. Each month things change, so my experience as a guide and photography coach makes a big difference to the success of the trip. Most photographers do not want to waste their time trying to figure everything out, so this makes my tours worth the time and efforts.
ps, there is little luck involved. In Africa, you are lucky to see a Caracal, or a Serval Cat, I have been very lucky.. in these locations, the abundance of bird creates a very easy situation. From there, it depends on ones knowledge of photography, and abilities to capture.
