Lake Ohara is one of the nicest easy hiking areas in Alberta (Banff) /BC (Yoho) area. It requires either walking 12 km or being lucky enough to get a bus (limited to 40 people per day by reservation). They limit the number of people per day by limiting reservations and/or requiring a 11km walk to start hiking.
One of my friends suddenly found some tickets (2 of the 40) and they invited me. Hurray.
Here are my best pictures of a rather cool/ but beautiful day.

A lovely place and I enjoy the way you've portrayed it. Thirty years since I last visited and longer since Lake Oesa. Are you headed for an early winter, or...is this a normal early September?

Great set ... I am jealous ... wish I had been there ... #1 is my favorite - it has a very nice balance between foreground and background ... worthy of a nice large print in my opinion ... just fantastic!

Frogfish: I am not a big ndgrad fan. It only works well in flat land. But I have 3 images to blend. I will take a look to see if I can fix the clouds in 3. I might have even overexposed in my minus 2 stop exposure. Thanks for the specific suggestion. Much appreciated. Scott
