I suspect the lens is worth repairing. If the frame of the 810 is bent, then it is toast. Just send them in for the estimate.

I had my D810 fell from my tripod a few weeks ago! my 200 f2 was mounted on my D810!! 2100$ to rerpaired! 1330 for the lenses and 770$ for thr body! Nikon call it imopact damage! lol

The repair is going to cost $558 for the lens mount and $725 for the Camera they said a week to get it repaired.

I'm hoping that the 810 and 300 2.8 come back from repair and are working just like it was before. The combo was tack sharp. I rented the combo from Lens Rental and one out of five images are sharp. I'll be calling them tomorrow to tell them. My combo never needed any AF adjustment.
