Hi everyone! I wasn't sure where to put this one, so the people forum it is - it is a portrait after all, just a little different than my norm. This is our new 8 month old Siberian kitty, Luna. We just love her! And a quick disclaimer, we keep her indoors, only went out in the yard for a few minutes to do a few photos.
First, for your and anyone else who's interested, this IS the correct forum for pet photography. A lot of people put the announcement in the title of the post (as you did), so those who are anti-pet or anti-whatever may choose whether to look or not. In your case, people will look because they know your work already.
And for this image, they will be glad they did. Those eyes are CAPTIVATING.
Nicely done, this image has all of your trademark amazingness including a good-looking subject.
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect - sorry. Had to say it that way. This is a perfect photograph. My friend has two of these cats and has taken photos of them, but NOTHING of this caliber. I wish he lived out west. I'd send him your way. Beautiful beautiful photograph.
Beautiful!! I commend you Lisa. Getting a cat to do what you want is like trying to nail Jello to a tree. What a pleasing peaceful image. You always get the colors spot on. Thanks for sharing.
