I love the anachronism, barefoot versus tech, but the smiles really make this a special image. Looks like a tie-breaker for second place. Great colors.
Go-pro was somewhat fun though - all the runners gathered around it afterwards to watch it.
The Masai, at least in that village, are an anachronism. They walk out of their cow-manure huts, out of an acacia-thorn fence, pull out cellphones and get on motorcycles. That was one of the reasons we wanted to photograph them running with a Go-Pro.

A village in Kenya ... never got a chance to visit the Masai in TZ unfortunately.
