the manual says:
1--the shortest shot distance is 122mm
and
2--the minimum distance from the object to be shot to the lens front approximates 4.7 mm(work distance)
2-- seems clear enough but 1---? what do they mean? what is the "shot distance"?

I kept mine for few days and realized that it was very cumbersome I don't mind manual focus, but I have been so spoiled with the modern DSLR-light meter that I decided right away that I don't want to go back to old timer light meter and guessing. The lens was send back.
When Laowa makes lenses that interface with my camera, I will buy one.
