Someone, who shall be nameless, suggested that this image, which I posted in the Macro World forum, might be suitable here.

It is a converted macro shot of a tachinid fly, whose eggs are laid inside caterpillars.

It was shot with a Printing Nikkor 105mm at f11 on an Olympus EM-1.
