Absolutely stunning! The vibrance of colours, the shutter speed set to show the rain, the sharpness and whole mood of the subjects, your angle of view it's all stunning.

This is a view of an eagle's nest that I think it is safe to say has probably never been posted before. What a unique experience!!! Number 3 is my favorite. All of these are great shots. How long will the chicks stay in the nest once they are fledged?

Beautiful set. Great composition. Wonderful behavioral timing. You really nailed the exposures--not easy with that range from bright whites to blacks.

I'm still lovin' these Geoff. 3 and 5 stand out. Was the light significantly different for 1? It looks like it could use a little more contrast ~ Ron

Superlatives for your posts are on back order. This one probably out of stock.
Just Amazing!
A big thanks to all above who took the time to leave a comment. Very much appreciated.
Ron, the 1st shot was during the peak of the deluge. The RAW file is super washed out so I did already drag the black level darker to increase contrast. It is still very different then the later images as the sun came out but still dark in the background.
Geoff, what is that white thing bottom middle of the frame? Almost looks like a skull of some sort.
H
It looked like a skull to me too. However it is actually the cross section of a large northern pike. When I zoom in on the raw file it becomes clear and you can see the fish bones.
