I love the scene and the water blur, but I'm actually less of a fan of starbursts that get just a little too big. Was this the Canon 16-35 2.8 mk2 at f/16 or f/22? I honestly wish the "sparkle" was 1/2 or even 1/4 the size. But, I know I'm probably alone on this opinion.
What a wonderful shot here. Overall i really like how you worked the sun in this. But so that Matt is not alone i will agree with his thinking that if the rays were just a little shorter off the sun it might look even better. Now my first thought was the lens flare on the left side of where the sun is reflecting off the water was not there. On the right side of that beam of light reflecting off the water it has a clean edge where on the left side its a bit hazy with the lens flare.
But i want to make sure there is no mistake, i really like your shot here, i am just being picky with that lens flare. If this was mine, I would either remove the one on the left or add it to the right side for some symmetry with that light beam.

Thanks Matt - appreciate the comments. The lens was Zeiss ZM18/4 at (I think) around f/16.

Thanks Jim. I agree with your comments. I would like to remove that flare on the LHS but it is beyond my PP skills....
Sometimes, in an effort to combat such things as flare or XXL sunstars, personally what I do is layer two different exposures, maybe with one at a different aperture but the same exposure, or sometimes with my hand held over the sun to block it out completely... Then with a quick bit of layer masking, lens effects can be removed quite effortlessly. :-)
