This shot was taken last Friday from one of the most beautiful vistas South Carolina has to offer. It's called Jumping off Rock and over looks Lake Jocassee. The lake actually goes out of sight both to the left and to the right of what I captured here and just to the right of this image is where the lake crosses over into North Carolina.
Good luck to all this week and thanks for looking!
Thank you Endre! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Mother nature didn't want to help me too much that night but after a VERY rough off road ride for 45 minutes I wasn't about to go home empty handed.
And a special thanks to you Karen and the other folks over in the critique forum for helping me figure out my cyan issues. Next time you're in the states give me a shout and I'll take you there.
I must admit that I've really enjoyed Fred's assignments. Sometimes I get it right and others .. well... not so much.
This assignment was no different as it gave me a reason to get out there and shoot a location that I've been wanting to shoot for some time now. I just needed an excuse to make the grueling 10 mile off road drive to get back in there to this remote location.
