War72- I'm not an expert, this was the first time, however for a couple of days I recommend staying in Forks and spending the day in the Hoh forest (30min drive) and have sunrise/sunsets at the beaches. We loved Ruby beach and Second Beach. Rialto beach was great but it's a bit of a walk on uneven terrain like gravel.... I had acl surgery 7months ago so I didn't enjoy this one at all.
Sol Duc is also a great spot especially if you headed to Seattle on the way back.
