From the same visit I took "Ripple Effect" I also captured this image about an hour earlier. I have visited this beach many times and these sand ripples are one of its coolest features. Not always photogenic and not always exposed but I was very lucky on this visit.
If I may, I think you should consider cropping the sky way down. This will add emphasis to the boulders and the sand lines. I believe it will make for a more powerful image.

Thank you. I actually tried what you suggested in post before I posted this image. For me the could formation and its reflection help balance the composition. Cropping the sky doesn't appeal to me and even though the lines are a very strong part of the image I feel the sky is needed to complete the scene.
Another winner Scott! The full sky with wonderful clouds emphasizing the blueness of the water and adding depth and scale to the lines and entire image!
