Golden light of the first ones sure looks pretty Herb
#5 is a bit noisy in the darks but I love the pose and the BG here. Wonder if you darken up the darks if things improve as it seems that the darks were 'opened' up in post?

Great work. All of these are top notch. Amazing how the light we shoot in changes the look of the subject so much. I think I like the first golden light ones best.

Outstanding Heron in-flights, Herb. Nice and sharp, with interesting light.
At first I wasn't sure if the WB could use adjusting, with the pronounced yellow and green hues on some of these, but I'm thinking it's just the light?
Jim
Thanks Jim, it's probably just the pinkish/ yellowish tainted light from the first hour of daylight. I didn't adjust the WB in PP.

You see all the good stuff
Karl
Thanks for the comments Karl, I always appreciate your insight. The darks didn't get noisy until USM was applied in pp. I guess I could try darkening the darks a tad.
