but was even the driftwood really that intense pink? I wonder if the WB is a bit off from reality?
seems just a trace over the top to me (although nature can be wild, no doubt, it really can be insane at times)
Very nice scene for sure! Love the elegant simplicity.
The saturation on the other hand is about 15-20pts too saturated for my taste (on a calibrated monitor). I think the image would stand with just as much impact pulled back. I would do it as a layer in PS in "color" blend mode so that the luminosity does not change.
A lovely surreal image. The simplicity is perfect. The colors are amazing, and the inclusion of the driftwood is great. I usually like to give real critiques but I can't fault anything here. Really enjoy this image.
I like the scene, but the colors are way too oversaturated. It simply doesn't look natural. Even if that's the way it truly was, I would still dial it back a bit so that it "looks" realistic.

Thanks Kory, that appears to be the general concensus. I will be going back to re-process this before printing.
