Many years of photographing bald eagles and a unique back drop presents itself. I was fortunate to captures these. I hope you like.

Of # 4 or 5 which crop do you prefer ?

Added a redo of the #2 image. Which do you prefer ? 2 or 3?

That eagle shot would be priceless without the fishermen in the background.

3 for my taste as the rock distracts from the fishermen being the dominate mid ground.

Love the color on 1, would like to see a little more "quartering shot of this with canoe headed either toward or away from the camera. I think the last is pretty darn good too Ted, really like the dark negative space to subject to more clarity in the foreground of this capture.

These are all fantastic shots! #2 is very nice as it tells a perfect story of 2 fishermen. Or would that be 1 fisherman and 1 fisherbird.

Even with all our man made technologies, natures design still outperforms.

If that shutter would have fired a fraction of a second later I wonder if the eagle and fish would have cleared the boat for a perfect silhouette of all 3.

#3 crop would be my choice as the rock distracts as Charlie mentioned.

Definitely #3 Ted, the rock is just too distracting in #4, as others have stated. #2 is a bonus and would have been a beauty if your position had allowed for a seperated silhouette.

Ted, for what it's worth, I vote for #4, the rock doesn't bother me, it tends to add to the "potential danger" of where they're fishing, #3 is too centered for my taste

But, that's why they make vanilla and chocolate ice-cream

#1 UT is just a wonderful feeling, love it.

Wonder if you cloned out the person behind the Eagle if it would make a stronger image? I do like the light and feel of color here.
