Holy cow! What a cool honor to get a Featured Thread of the Week! Many thanks to those that voted up this image. I manage to see quite a few barred owls but this one really stood out for me, mostly because I was just freaking lucky to be in the right place when it landed in that spot and that it was so isolated by the OOF trees.
