This set is from last weekend. Notice that the owl always has a bit of elevation in the places it chooses to stand. This makes it easier for it to take flight when it wants to attack or flee. The second photo shows the owl on the main trail down to the beach, not a private place at all. As they are so smart, I'm wondering if it goes there to tease people or play some other soft of game.
Very nice set with excellent composition. We had some in our area but they seem to have left after we had nearly 2 weeks of foggy weather. I imagine that made it very hard for them to hunt.
