I might add a vignette to it to further focus the attention on the foreground and darken the mood a tad. But then again... I add vignetting to almost everything so take that with a grain of salt :-)

Voted for ya! :-)
Great shot, wonderful details, and imagination. Some of the stances and colors do give off a slightly darker mood. Therefore, I agree with Jonathan.
Yeah it was a lot of fun but long day. The entire shoot took 10 hours with stage setup, hair, makeup, wardrobe, lighting, etc in cold weather (40 degrees). That's VERY cold for us Southern California people.

This is a fun shot! Have you considered cloning out the vertical string in the middle of shot?
I actually did and the chandelier was just floating right there. It's kind of weird so I decided against it. I may just put a branch or something there.
Love the imagination in this. Lots of detail and presumably time to shoot this. I like how the woman to camera left is sitting on edge of table but not falling off.
Absolutely terrific! I love everything about it! I think it is better than Annie Liebowitz's stuff since she has a whole army of people working to set up her shots for her. By the way, this looks like you shot it at the Cedar Grove in Griffith Park - a little way up the trail from Commonwealth Ave. I'd be very curious to know if I'm right about that. Also, how did you light it? Thanks for any info.
I read something posted on FM recently that linked to an article by someone who thought photography isn't art. I would point them to this to suggest otherwise. Excellent concept and execution!
