Congratulations to Dentx for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 2 votes - View Previous Winners
One of my closest friends requested a shoot so we tried to catch the last remnants of Fall before everything turns "blah". I've known his kids since they were babies so I am very close to them. I wanted a little variety in the images, so some are a little dark. Hope u guys like them. Check my flickr for better copies: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mitcht/
No doubt you know what you are doing with the camera, the light and your lovely subjects. Processing is quite heavy, in my mind, with the exception of #4. I'd be tempted to back off a lot, for at least an alternate rendition.
Nicely done as usual. Those colours are really bold and beautiful.
The only nit I see is that there's a few shots near the end of the set that have expressions that seem to show some boredom setting in. Great smiles in the early shots are wonderful. Posing the groups seems to be a strong point for you.

Thanks John! One aspect of post processing I struggle with is restraint. My problem is I love vibrant colors. But I do also like subdued, understated. It's a tug of war.

I love the colours of fall and these really do nail it. Processing is always a matter of taste and I like what you have done.

Thanks Jim! Kids can be tough at times, especially when they'd rather be with their friends somewhere than taking pics with their Dad.
These are awesome!!! Am sure your friend is going to be very happy ... (I know I would be if you want to come over to east coast and take pics of my family )
