The year is pretty much over for me photography-wise with the daylight hours being what they are in Minnesota. With inspiration from canerino and zalmyb, I've made an effort to capture more of the atmosphere surrounding my family's activities. I may take this minimalism too far at times, but I really enjoy the look right now. My goal is to shoot less but choose more quality moments.
Thanks! It wasn't too hard. My son would give him a tap, and he'd hop. Took about 7 tries with prefocusing. The color version does look better, but I just pulled these photos from my journal which is all black and white.
It seems a bit early for a wrap up of the year's photos. Why not add some indoor shots to your portfolio? You might get some super shots during the holiday celebrations.
