If I may point out, take a look between 5/6 and look at the differences in feet positioning. 6 is more pleasing because she keeps the weight on the leg farther away from camera (so it's more flattering). And if you wanted to do just a little more, get her to put the weight on the balls of her feet as well.
Ron, these are just wonderful compositions!! The lovely young lady is perfect and the different poses you have her in compliment her beauty and style to the max. You OOF bg work is tremendous..blur.
May I ask if this was due to aperature setting or postprocessing? Doesn't really make a difference to me, except my pp skils leave me at a disadvantage here, the final product is excellant no matter!

Keep sharing!
I appreciate the feedback, Peter. In 5, I had her spinning and didn't really direct her as to what foot to pivot on, focus was on getting a great smile, her hair flying, and the dress flowing.

Thanks, Dan! Any blur you see is a result of the aperture's depth of field. No blur was added in post.
Nice stuff as always Ron. 6, 8 and 15 stand out for me. I really like a cloudy day for color pop, and you did a great job on those. The sun of course creates its own challenges and you of course handle it with a lot of skill. Great set.

Thanks, Ed! Those are three of my favorites as well, though not my most favorite in this set. I do love shooting into the sun!

What a great shoot Ron - gorgeous girl, great lighting, amazingly varied locations and expressions. You really had a wonderful connection with her!
Thanks, Lisa! She was pretty easy to connect with.
I'm a big fan of cloudy days for shooting portraits. They have their own magic in colours.
Great photos, great work. I'm sure mom and doughter love these photos!
As for me, my favourite photos are:
1 - simple but very nice, and we can see the pros of using f4
3 - composition and her facial expression make this shot like a frame from the movie
9, 17 - nice places and beautiful colours
Talking about last photo - we all know that its a horrible idea to play with that sun or groom on the lady's palm etc. But always just only final result matters. And here I see a stunning result. Its just an exception that proves the rule. Its a difficult work to get good result when breaking the rules. Great feeling of perspective, great light. The moon looks like a bubble gum
The only thing which caught my eye is the photo #12. I dont know why exactly (dress, front and back light, pose) but she looks fatty on that photo, which she is deffo not.
Great photos! I'm following you on flickr till now.
Thanks, guys! Pleasantly surprised by well the "kissing the moon" shot has been received. I'm sure a few silent viewers have shaken their heads at that one. But the bottom line is that Sarah was really digging the moon, and now has an image to go with that.
Thanks again for your feedback, I always like to know which ones are your favorites in a series like this.
Let em shake their heads!!! It is extremely creative and exceptionally photographed! In the photography magazines they devote issues to "How To" for this type of composition!
Again..great work!!
