Thanks all for the comments on my Birds of Kenya - Part 1 thread. Glad you enjoyed the series. I've just finished processing a few of the raptor shots I captured while in Kenya recently.

I noticed that as well Herb, but I'm not sure what's going on. I only use a fine 'smart sharpen' action overall in photoshop where appropriate. When I view these images directly at my site (colquhoun.smugmug.com) I do not see this extra sharpening at all. I'm not sure where it's coming from.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. I'm curious if anyone else sees these images as over-sharpened? The sharpening I used is pretty much my default workflow when processing a picture and I thought it was quite minimal. Curious what other people think.
These are sensational, Harry. Every one of them is terrific. Detail is spot on, and not oversharpened to me. Bet you wish you were back there right now.
