Another fine set Herb....I'm wondering if you have gone a little past sharp cheddar on some of these...certainly the IQ is top shelf....You've had a banner summer with these guys and they've been very enjoyable to see.

pull a little sharping off, or noise reduction for just the background.
de-saturate the top leg/foot area to remove a little green, as well as there is a bit of CA in the top of the wing there from that high contrast area I assume.
possible make it more of a landscape style crop, If possible maybe slightly more room behind the legs and slightly more in front of the bird depending if you have the canvas and how it looks.
but those are just my 2 cents. love the night herons you are really doing the right thing taking a lot of photos of them, I would be as well.
