So it goes from, "Not tonight, Dear, I have a headache," to, "Well, okay, for a fish, but Dear, this is really a rather small one, don't you think?"
Great series!
great tern series. Love baby interaction.
I see your focal length. It's amazing when you are almost on top of them you still need 20,000mm focal length.

Now here's a weird reply. Sorry, there's no babies or baby interaction here. I thought the title was self explanatory, I guess not. As far as being < almost on top of them > : if you consider 60+ feet away from a 5 inch bird being < almost on top of them >, you might just want to stick with landscapes. It's 1120mm of glass on a 1.3x crop body which comes to 1456 effective mm, a mere fraction of your 20,000 mm claim. Thanks for the chuckle.

That's a great series Herb showing the interesting relationship between the two. Bringing food and showing its ability to provide for its mate and probably offspring must be very sexy....
I share you shooting v processing issues...I've got stuff from years ago I've never looked at...makes rainy days tolerable.
