Captured from a recent micro light flight over the Luangwa River floodplain- Zambia, one beautiful clear sunny morning,
just a perfect day to be out capturing nature's wonders!
I love the tapestry created here like some ancient cave painting.
Looking forward to another return visit here for the end of the dry season late OCT.
This brings back memories of my old days when I was an Army photo interpreter during the Vietnam War. Shadows are one of the best ways to identify objects on the ground. Shooting during low sun angles is the best way to get them.
Sometimes recce-bird pilots would turn on their cameras over Thailand and catch photos of elephants. You are brave folks for using that ultra-light.
