Great collection of beautiful and colorful birds, Ed! All well captured and presented with sharp detail. The first and the Tiger Heron are on top of my favorites

First time I've had a chance to use the 'multi-quote' feature. Just way too cool.

Extra special wonderful series of creepy birds and others ....really top drawer stuff Ed. I'd be thrilled to have seen let alone photographed most of these.
Eric
Creepy, but sweet. I guess that's from all the nectar they feed on. Thanks for the comments, Eric.

Those are fantastic, Ed! Amazing diversity in Costa Rica, captured and presented here beautifully. Pura vida!
Greg
Thanks for the kind remarks, Greg. When I see words like 'Pura Vida', or 'Aloha', it really stirs my emotions. When you have been to Costa Rica, or Hawaii, there is definitely a special spirit that seems to draw you back to the wonderful people you encounter when visiting these magical places.

Thanks, Morris. So many beautiful birds down there. Hard to choose what I should frame. Perhaps a composite.

Outstanding set here Ed Although your first two shots are spot on tech wise I think they need more space around them.
#3 can that bird get any bluer ?
My pick of this sweet, sweet set Ed would be that tiger heron. You have my vote here
Hi, Michael. Appreciate the comments. First tiger heron for me. This was the only one I saw.

Geez Ed. This is a super set. All are great, so my picks are for the subjects. 1, 2, 6, 8, and 10 stand out along with the landscape ~ Ron
Hey, Ron. Thanks for the remarks. Hope you are doing well.
Amazing images, especially since you were mixing bodies too. I am really impressed with the 70D, in some cases they actually seem clearer than the 1DMKIV.
Holy smokes buddy, what a collection of smokin hot images from your journey
Impressive variety of species and all beautifully presented Ed! That opener is off the freakin chain my friend
Thanks a bunch, Kenny.
