I had an interesting dialogue (pm) with a well respected FM'er about the moment.
How frequently can an accomplished photographer capture the moment. 10%-99% I will minimally elaborate about the discussion, the baseball leaving a pitchers fingers, the bat hitting the ball, a bat breaking on contact with a baseball or the lift off/landing of an eagle or a hummingbird from/to a branch.
Posting 18-images from July 19-20, 2014.
Exif data included in all except for 3-composite slides. I included an adult male hummer for the sake of variety and geeze, I haven't seen one in several weeks.
Ted, what can I say ! Bravo , sir for a marvelous set . All so well done. Each is a wonderful moment . Congratulations on your 7 year challenge No favorites, from me as I am envious of them all
Terrific series, Ted. You really have some 'hum'diggers here. Love the darker background in a number of these. Really makes the bird pop off the screen.

I do think we all have our own "Moment" shots that we strive for, that's one of the challenges of nature photography and one of the aspects that make it fun for us. A sincere congrats to you Ted on achieving one of yours I'm sure you are still grinning from ear to ear! I myself am partial to 17 Well done UT!
