I'm hesitant to buy Leica M for this camera. It's a lot of money, I only really want the 35 FLE and that doesn't seem to work very well on the A7r.
have you seen these tests of the 35 FLE on the a7?
Regarding the Pentax Limited 77/1.8 vs the Pentax K 85/1.8, there are some good reviews over at Pentaxforum and some compare these two lenses. Specifically - and I don't know if it's sample variation - the Limited 77 seems to have a reputation for purple fringing/ CA whereas the K 85/1.8 does not. I have never owned the 77 but I can confirm the K 85/1.8 (at least my copy) has no CA issues on the A7r.

Looked at loads of Flickr pics and user reports. But I have the A7r which is a completely different beast to the A7. I can't spend £3000+ on a lens that has edge smearing. I have wondered about the A7s as a second body however and if this works with it what a great low light combo!
I did watch an M 240 (two month old, mint) go for £2800 on the evilbay yesterday though.
Paranoid! I am.
Here's a guy with the A7r and 35 FLE. These do look good mind you!

Oh.. forgot the Pentax FA77ltd too.
Small lens about the size of a 50/1.4.
Nice all metal build with a convenient built in hood.
Very sharp from wide open.
It gets lots of use for me because its so handy.
The 77 Ltd is one of my all time favourite lenses - I did mention it way back on page 1 (or 2) I think
When you consider it's small size and weight it's a great match for an A7 (r-s). It has been described as one of the best ten lenses of all time.

My 77 doesn't PF but my 31mm is utterly dreadful. Breathtakingly awful.
It's sharp stopped down, but wide open my 31 is miserable.
I've been after a K 85/1.8, but can't find one. The Pentax A* 85/1.4 is £1000+ and rare. So no.
I was lucky (I think, though it was still expensive) and found my K 85/1.8 for around $500 a few months back. I owned the A*85/1.4 previously but I actually prefer the K 85/1.8 as the A* does suffer CA and a bit of softness wide open - which could stand stopping down a little to alleviate - whereas my K 85 is nice and clean wide open by comparison. For the weight, size and price difference given the performance, I think the K85 may be the better option.
As an aside, I had the Super Multi Coated version of the M42 85/1.8 a while back and, at least the copy I had (which was in mint shape) did not perform the same as the K85/1.8. It had some CA and required stopping down for best performance. Perhaps that was sample variation as I thought these two lenses were optically the same (they are both 6/6 designs), though they do have different size filter threads so maybe they differ somewhat?

^Absolutely. I stole the K50/1.2 and A50/1.2 from some pawn shops around here - paid a grand total of 6000 rupees, which is ~100USD/60GBP for BOTH of them
Got some stunning shots on my NEX-3, waiting to get an A7 for them this winter. Got some other good Pentax glass as well, the K85/1.8, A50/2.8 Macro, Cosina 55/1.2 M42, A24/2.8, K28/3.5 - these all hold up well on the A7.

6000 rupees for two of the best f1/.2 fifties ever made!!!!
Do you know how much those go for now, you lucky . . . . !!!
I have the K 50/1.2 which is lovely for the bokeh. I went with the Revuenon 55/1.2 instead of the Pentax A 50/1.2, it's super sharp and much cheaper. Same as your Cosina.

^Yep, I see those prices over at PF and go
YOu have the Revuenon in K-mount or M42?
K-mount. Goes lovely on the Novoflex.
Tricky to find these days.
Strangely, my Pentax-K 50mm 1.2 will not go on the Novoflex and I can't figure out why. It sort of gets half jammed on. Shame because that's a great lens.

Just a warning that the great K85/1.8 is the only lens I have that actually requires a baffled adapter to avoid flare issues on the A7r. Don't buy the non-baffled Novoflex if you plan to use that lens on the A7. Instead buy the Rayqual/ Kindai adapter.
Here is the test I performed which confirms this (as well as Kindai adapter info):
