I am wondering how 24-120 F4 performs on D810. I used to have it with D700, and I liked it a lot, but D810 is completely different camera. Any opinion is welcome...

There are many pictures in this thread that were shot with 24-120 f4. I have one and it performs great on my D810. I use it as my general purpose/travel lens. No complaints. I used in past 24-70mm f2.8 on D700 as walk-around lens and liked that, too. Having used a 24-70mm f2.8 before, I was hesitant to try a 24-120 f4, but after using it for few months by now, I like it. YMMV. I am not a pro, though based on my reading of various posts on this forum, many pros use this lens with D810 and even with full-sized pro bodies like D3s/D4/D4s.

For whatever reason, over the past few weeks, I started having this fascination with old lenses. I found an old contax yeshica carl zeiss 50mm 1.4 on eBay for about AUD$460 so I decided to take the plunge and buy it. The next thing on my list was an adapter which I found on B&H.
I haven't really had the opportunity to play with it fully but took a few shoots today. I believe images are only usable from F4 onwards.
