Spent the last couple weeks with the family on the Big Island of Hawaii. It wasn't a photo vacation but I did manage to get out a couple times for myself. Here's one from Hawaii Volcanoes NP after the sun had set and the rain mostly lifted. There remained a cloud layer just above the volcano, which in another shot I took produced the most amazing moon bow. I'm still working on that one. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Excellent shot! I love that sky, did you use a graduated ND filter for that? How did you get the stars not to streak? I always wondered...
Thanks everyone for the comments!
This is a blend of 3 exposures. One for the "flame" portion of the volcano, one for the rim and clouds, and the last for the sky. The exif shows the exposure for the brightest part of the image at 10s, f2.8 and ISO 400. I increased the shutter time to 25s for the mid shot and then the ISO to 3200 at 25s for the sky. Aperture remained the same for all at 2.8. I could increase the glow on the rim more from first exposure but settled with a more faint version to make the "flame" stand out more. No GND filters were used.
