#3 and 5 are my favorites here. But #1 and 2 are too saturated, I think you should pull the colors down a bit in both. They look to be colorful without having to push the colors in them.

Thanks Jim, 1 is pretty much as it came from the raw with a slight WB adjust, crazy sunrise everyone here commented on it, even made the press. 2 is played with (levels).

5 is beautiful! How much of those stars were you able to see with your eyes when you were there?
Some but not that much!? Camera captures a lot more , but its shot in one of the top dark sky sites in the world. You just have to get away from light pollution and let your eyes adjust. For info it is 14ish shots 24mm f3.5 ISO 6400.
I would go with 2, and 5, others look little over, sometimes even the natural colors get overwhelming, i would reduce the sat a little (usually the opposite action required :-))
I like the first, but the cut off rocks on the right ruin it for me...

I disagree. I think the colour looks amazing. I have shot many sunsets where I have had to pull saturation down. These would look fantastic on a wall. They NEED to be in print.

Could you give us a little insight on your mindset and settings on the last 2.SS/iso/aperture?camera body and lens,Thanks Doug M
Hi Doug,
They are shot on a 6d ISO 6400 f3.5 30 seconds, both stitches of 14-16 frames with the 24mm tse mk2, using a gigapan epic pro.
Usually processed to tiff in acr then into pt gui to stitch.
