Like you I am another that is totally enamoured by warblers and so I loved looking through your set. Some really lovely shots there.
China has lots of warblers, there are at least 34 species of Leaf Warblers, all looking very similar alone, never mind the Sylvia, Grasshopper, Reed, and Bush warblers ! There are probably well over a 100 warbler species to be found in China, all counted. However the USA seems to have more colourful warblers and I'd love to come over to photograph them. Threads like this do nothing to dissipate that feeling !
Howdy,
It seems that the Warblers have the world surrounded. It's nice to hear you say that you enjoy Warblers as well. They surely are a challenge to photograph.hank you for dropping in and taking a look. Post some of China's Warblers, I'd love to see them.
Hi Paul,
I'm on AZ and have not seen any Warblers, just colorful grand children.
I believe that you've been lurking in the Magee Marsh! Just a great assortment of Warblers there.
Thank you for dropping in.

HI -
Great set of shots, and wonderful to have their ID's - I do know how hard it is to get them to pose -
Thanks -
Paul
These are some of the best images of these small birds I have seen with true natural background with foliage unlike some who like to blur the background with monochromatic (artificial?) tones. Well done.
Reminds me of the "Birds of Paradise" exhibit they had at our local natural history museum - an attempt to photograph all the species.

Thank you for your kind comments, Warblers are quite a challenge, but extremely fun to pursue.
